2nd Place- Baltimore Ravens (10-6)

Let me remind you that these record predictions were made going week by week through the NFL schedule and predicting each game. This allows for tie breakers to determine who places where in each division. So in this situation, the Steelers were able to win the tiebreaker against the Ravens. Now that that’s been explained, let’s get down to it.

The Ravens have some solid offensive weapons. Although Joe Flacco lost former 1,000 yard receiver Torrey Smith, he gained former UCF Knight Breshad Perriman. Justin Forsett, who rushed for over 1,000 yards will be returning for the Ravens. Having a known element like Forsett in your offense can be incredibly valuable. Not to mention veteran quarterback Joe Flacco, who figures to be just as consistent as always. The Ravens offense has never been spectacular, but it is more or less the same year to year.

On the defensive side of things, the Ravens lost defensive end Haloti Ngata and linebacker Pernell McPhee. They were able to resign Ladarius Webb and acquire Kyle Arrington in free agency. Their defense will most likely decline slightly with the loss of Ngata, but it shouldn’t falter too much.

At the end of the day, the Ravens are more or less the same team as they were last year. Last year they went 10-6 and they figure to finish there again this coming season.
