As the season is already down to its final four teams – it’s also the time where the NBA’s best are honored.

Today, the All-NBA teams were announced, and to no surprise; Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James and Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry were the only two unanimous players. Also joining James and Curry on the 1st team were Houston Rockets guard James Harden, Memphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol, and New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis.

It’s to no one’s surprise that the League MVP, Stephen Curry, was a unanimous selection – receiving 129 first-team votes. Curry, who averaged 23.8 points, 7.7 assists, and 2.04 steals per game led the Warriors to a 67-win season – which is now a franchise record. He also broke his own record for most made three pointers, nailing 286 from behind the arc.

Future Hall of Famer, LeBron James, has been a familiar face on the All-NBA team, as this is his eighth consecutive selection, ninth overall. He led the Cavaliers to a 53-29 record, earning their first playoff berth since the 2009-2010 season. He averaged his usual 25.3 points and 7.4 assists per game.

Since James Harden’s departure from the Oklahoma City Thunder, he’s been a rising star in the game. Harden, who averaged 27.4 points and 7 assists per game, was a MVP candidate the whole season. This is Harden’s second consecutive All-NBA first team selection – the first Rockets’ player to do that since Hakeem Olajuwon.

Soon-to-be superstar Anthony Davis had an incredible breakout season, leading the Pelicans to their first playoff berth since 2011. Davis led the league in rebounding while averaging 24.4 points and 10.2 rebounds per game.

Marc Gasol, who has been the anchor for the Memphis Grizzlies gritty style of play, averaged a career best 17.4 points per game. He was named an All-Star for the second time this season; thus being his first start.
