After days of speculation, Arizona Cardinals have agreed on a one-year deal with three-time Pro Bowler Chris Johnson.

Last week, the team made an offer to the running back. It took the team a few days, but at the end of the day, the team signed the running back that the team has been targeting.

He played last season for the New York Jets and is recovering from a gunshot injury this past summer.

Last season for the Jets, Johnson rushed for 663 yards on 155 carries and accumulated one touchdown.

Even though Johnson is past his prime at age 29, there are still some upsides to him. He has good speed and could break out for a few huge runs.

The problem with Johnson is he has a reputation of getting into trouble off the field. If the team can limit his problems and have him produce good numbers the signing is worth it.

Arizona is getting a good veteran back who has something to prove in Johnson. It looks like he is healed from his injury.

The team will most likely slot him in the backup running back spot behind Andre Ellington, who is known for being injury prone.
