Boston Red Sox are making moves to unload unwanted contracts after the trade deadline, as they have agreed to send Mike Napoli to the Texas Rangers along with cash for a player to be named later or cash.

Boston is one team expected to be making trades from here on out.

This season for Boston, Napoli boasts a batting average of .207, 13 home runs, 40 RBI, and an OBP of.307.

There are a lot to like about Napoli as he is a good middle of the lineup power hitter and can produce 20+ home runs. He can produce good offense in the middle of the lineup and a good glove. He is a veteran leader in the clubhouse and has playoff experience.

Texas is bringing in Napoli for a big playoff run as they sit three games out of the Wild Card.

Napoli last played for Rangers during the 2012 season.
