Top 5 Fantasy Sleepers in 2015

It’s almost that time of the year again. Fantasy football players are buying their magazines and looking for who they will target in their drafts. Not only are these players looking at potential first round picks, but they are looking for the diamond in the rough that they can snatch up in the last few rounds. Last year, we saw Travis Kelce be a major sleeper who was a fantasy stud at tight end. With that being said, here are five sleepers in every draft.

1. Brandin Cooks, WR, New Orleans Saints

Cooks looked destined to rack up 1,000 yards by the end of his rookie season, but then a thumb injury landed him on the IR. With Jimmy Graham in Seattle and Kenny Stills in Miami, look for Cooks to emerge as one of Drew Brees’ favorite targets in 2015.

2. Derek Carr, QB, Oakland Raiders

The Raiders entered the offseason with one main goal: get Derek Carr a solid group of receivers. The Raiders accomplished their goal, by signing Michael Crabtree and drafting Amari Cooper. Look for Carr to have a breakout sophomore season in Oakland.

3. Allen Robinson, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars

If not for a season ending injury, Allen Robinson looked like he was Blake Bortles’ favorite option. Now healthy, Robinson has been praised for his play in the Jaguars’ camps and looks as if he is ready to pick up right where he left off for Jacksonville.

4. Zach Ertz, TE, Philadelphia Eagles

In fantasy football, tight end is one of the positions that have that small group of superstars (Rob Gronkowski, Greg Olsen, and Jimmy Graham), and then everyone else is just average. Look for Ertz to become one of those superstars at tight end on an Eagles team that does not have Jeremy Maclin this season.

5. Latavius Murray, RB, Oakland Raiders

Without Darren McFadden or Maurice Jones-Drew, it looks like the Raiders’ backfield is centered around Latavius Murray. While the Raiders may also have Roy Helu, Jr. and Trent Richardson on the roster, Murray should get most of the touches and is poised to rack up huge numbers for the up-and-coming Oakland Raiders.
