Redrafting the First 10 Picks of the 2014 NFL Draft
With the fourth overall pick, the Buffalo Bills select: Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&M
Other than Odell Beckham Jr., Mike Evans was the best rookie wide receiver in 2014.
Evans caught 68 passes for 1,051 yards and 12 touchdowns. While Sammy Watkins had a solid rookie season with the Bills, Evans doubled Watkins’ touchdown total and caught three more passes for 69 more yards.
With Evans looking like a top ten receiver after only his first season in the NFL, the Bills would have been happier had they taken Evans instead of Watkins.
