Redrafting the First 10 Picks of the 2014 NFL Draft
With the fifth overall pick, the Oakland Raiders select: Khalil Mack, LB, Buffalo
The Raiders are a team that if given a do-over, would stick with their original pick.
Khalil Mack is a star in the making and finished third in the Defensive Rookie of the Year award voting.
Mack piled up 76 tackles with four sacks and one forced fumble in his first season.
Mack expects to be the centerpiece of the Raiders’ defense for years to come.
With the sixth overall pick, the Atlanta Falcons select: Jadeveon Clowney, LB, South Carolina
Last year, the Falcons pass rush was absolutely horrendous, which is the main reason they selected Vic Beasley Jr. in the 2015 NFL Draft.
In this re-draft, the Falcons could now select a player that was not available to them last year, as he was the number one pick.
Jadeveon Clowney had the most potential entering theĀ 2014 Draft, and although he was hurt last season, he still has that superstar potential.
While Jake Matthews could be a part of the Falcons’ offensive line for years to come, the team could not pass up on Clowney’s potential.
