The Minnesota Timberwolves and the Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed on a trade sending Kevin Love to the Cavaliers in return for Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett, and a protected 2015 first round draft pick.

Wiggins and Bennett have been first overall picks in the NBA Draft over the past two years.Love, 25, is expected to sign a five-year extension with the Cavaliers once the trade is processed. The deal is reportedly worth over $120 million dollars. The two teams must wait until August 23, or 30 days after Wiggins signed his rookie contract. NBA Rules and regulations say that once a rookie signs his deal, he may not be officially traded for the next 30 days.

LeBron James will start the season with a new big three, including Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love. The Cavaliers have also hired David Blatt as the head coach, replacing Mike Brown.

When Wiggins has been asked about the trade, he responded by saying, “I just want to play for a team that wants me.” Wiggins will most likely start for the Timberwolves. Bennett had a rather disappointing rookie season, averaging just four points and three rebounds a game.

Many still think that Bennett could be a good player in the NBA, as he has worked tirelessly to drop weight and get into NBA-shape. Love, the three-time All-Star spent six seasons with Minnesota, averaging 26 points and about 13 rebounds a game last year. Love has never reached the playoffs in his six-year career.
