Samoa Joe Coming To The WWE?

One of the best wrestlers in TNA history Samoa Joe has been there from mostly the start of the company. Everybody knows that a few weeks ago Samoa Joe quit TNA and now it looks like he might be coming to the most known wrestling company in the world. Reports are saying that Samoa Joe is coming to the WWE after his Ring Of Honor contract runs out which is going to be in April.

In his time with TNA he has been a TNA World Heavyweight Champion one time, TNA X Division Champion five times, TNA World Tag Team Champion five times, and TNA Television Champion one time. When Samoa Joe arrived in the company he went on a 18 month undefeated streak which was ended in 2006 by Kurt Angle.

Most TNA fans remember Joe for the spectacular matches in the company ever since he arrived; like the triple threat match for the TNA X Division title between him AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels in what fans called one of the best matches in TNA history. there was also the great rivalry he had with Kurt Angle.

For all of the only WWE fans that do not know who Samoa Joe is let me tell you who he is. Joe is a great technical and powerhouse wrestler and he knows how to make people submit. He is a big guy, but he can move in the ring pretty well. He has good stamina. He knows how to put on a great match from his time in TNA and Ring of Honor.

This is a good thing because Joe can make a big impact in the company as long as Vince McMahon keeps him in NXT. To me that is where he will be at his best, facing guys like Adrian Neville, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Finn Balor and many more talented superstars. In my opinion NXT is a lot better than Raw and Smackdown for Joe.

One problem that could happen in this is Samoa Joe is not that young. He is going to be 36 years old in march. He might not be able to move as fast as he could when he was younger. Another problem that could happen is how are the WWE writers going to use Joe in the program. It is most likely that the WWE will change Samoa Joe’s name and that could bother diehard wrestling fans

One match that a lot of wrestling fans would love to see if Joe comes to NXT would be against Kevin Owens. Those guys are two of the biggest performers in the business. Joe is a technical wrestler and Owens is a power guy, who knows how to use his size and strength to his advantage. They could put on an awesome match in NXT.

On the TNA side of this they lost one of the best superstars that they ever had and this will be another big blow to the company. They already lost original superstars like AJ Styles, Kaz, Christopher Daniels, who were all great talent that TNA had.

Overall this could be a good move by the WWE and it is true Joe will be able to showcase his skills to a whole new breed of wrestling fans.  Wrestling fans that have never heard of Samoa Joe will be able to see him in action. Joe may go through some bumps in the company, but all we can hope is that one day Samoa Joe can become a good WWE superstar. He will bring a lot of experience and leadership to the very young NXT locker room.
