MVP: Anthony Davis, New Orleans Pelicans

If the MVP award was just based on who had the best statistics last season, then Anthony Davis would have ran away with the award. Last year, Davis averaged 24.4 points, 10.2 rebounds, and a whopping 2.9 blocks per game.

Along with those numbers, he had a PER of 30.89 and led the Pelicans to the playoffs. With Davis still improving going into only his fourth year in the league, along with the fact that he will be shooting more threes this season, look for the young superstar to bring home his first of many MVP awards this season.

Honorable Mention: Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Thunder
