As a NFL fan, I love watching Tony Romo. As a Cowboys fan I REALLY like watching Tony Romo. I might just cry the day he retires. Romo is the heart and soul of the Dallas Cowboys, but his day could be coming to an end within five years. Romo has had two back surgeries and took a nasty – some would say illegal – hit against the Redskins that sidelined him for almost an entire quarter. The Cowboys would go on to lose the Monday Night matchup. Romo has officially been listed as day-to-day and will be available on Sunday against Arizona only if he is not in a large amount of pain. The Cowboys NEED Romo on that field.

Brandon Weeden has proved that he is  a competent backup, but he cannot lead the team to victory against the Cardinals. Romo is the leader of the Cowboys. He loves this team and will continue to sacrifice his body. Romo is not done. He has the best offensive line in football and one of the best running backs in DeMarco Murray, who is having a record breaking year. The Cowboys look much better than in years past. Romo deserves a Super Bowl championship more than anyone in the NFL.

STOP the hate. This fan hopes that Romo plays into his 40′s and wins a Super Bowl ring or maybe two. Next Stop? The Hall of Fame. It may sound crazy, but his stats are better than Aikman’s and Stabauch’s. Now all he needs is that championship ring on his finger. Please be okay Tony!
