The Oakland Raiders have added many explosive playmakers on offense this offseason, with players like Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree headlining their additions.

They just added another playmaker in WR/KR/PR Trindon Holliday.

Holliday ran a 40 time of 4.34 back in 2010 at the NFL Draft Combine, and in his NFL career, he has not lost that speed. He last played for the San Francisco 49ers, and was released on April 30th.

Holliday has always been seen as an extremely fast player, but due to his height (5’5″), he has been overlooked by many NFL teams.

Coming out of high school, several Division I College Football schools such as Duke, would not offer him a scholarship due to his size.

After his career at LSU, many teams believed that he could be an extremely versatile offensive weapon in the NFL.

Unfortunately, things have not yet panned out for Trindon. Holliday has not yet caught on in the NFL as a wide receiver or pass catching running back, and the Raiders are just hoping the former LSU Tiger has a little bit of gas left in the tank.

While this deal is more of a low-risk, low-reward deal, Holliday may be able to bring back some of his Denver Broncos postseason magic and revive his career.
