15. Brandon Knight
Draft: 2011
Pick: 8th overall
College: Kentucky

Though mainly known for being absolutely demolished trying to block Deandre Jordan’s monstrous ally-oop dunk, Brandon Knight has developed himself into an above-average starter. Knight made the NBA All-Rookie First Team in the 2011-2012 season after starting 60 games for the Detroit Pistons, averaging 12.8 points, 3.8 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game.

Knight saw his scoring average increase slightly to 13.3 points per the following season while starting 75 games, but was never able to prove himself in a Detroit uniform. The Pistons traded Knight to the Milwaukee Bucks before the 2013-2014 season; then his career took the next step. Averaging 17.9 points, 4.9 assists and 3.5 rebound per game, Knight showed how good he really was.

He only got better last season. Going into the All-Star break, Knight was putting up 17.8 points, 5.4 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game. He shot 41 percent from three and 88 percent from the free throw line as Milwaukee was forming into a playoff team. However, in a move that shocked many and that the Bucks will undoubtedly regret in the future, Milwaukee traded Knight to the Phoenix Suns in a deal that got them Michael-Carter Williams.

Though Knight wasn’t able to contribute as much in 11 games with Phoenix before having ankle surgery, the Suns did sign him to a five-year $70 million contract in the offseason. Knight is entering just his fifth season in the NBA, and could be set for a full breakout year.
