8. Andrew Wiggins
Draft: 2014
Pick: 1st overall
College: Kansas

Nobody is questioning that Andrew Wiggins is going to be an absolute superstar in this league when it’s all said and done. That could even be next year, his offseason workouts are looking very good. For now though, he stands as the youngest player on this list on the only representative of the 2014 NBA draft class here. That is why he comes in at number eight.

Wiggins was the clear cut Rookie of the Year last season; starting all 82 games for the Minnesota Timberwolves and putting up 16.9 points per game. Which are nearly identical numbers that he put up in his freshman season at Kansas. After struggling a bit off the bat in his rookie season, Wiggins started dominating towards the end of the season. From March 29th to the final day of the season on April 15th, Wiggins scored at least 20 points in seven out of ten games played; including four games of 25+ points scored, with the lowest scoring game of that stretch being 15 points.

Wiggins also scored at least 30 points in four games last season, all coming after the year changed to 2015 (starting in January). Wiggins looks to have only gotten better in the offseason; showing much improved ball handling, jump shooting and physical attributes in leaked videos of his workouts. Wiggins looks like his body is already reaching a level that will let him dominate the NBA next season.
